881 - Royston Tan Film

Hey, watched 881 with my whole family...it is really fun and the best part was I get to eat all the chips popcorn and stuffs in the cinema and Mum didn't try to stop me at all...

Here is the official website for 881 http://www.zhaowei.com/881/synopsis.html

The song Mum like most is the song by Papaya Sister - Yearning (相思) but it is not heard in the movie, she is a bit disappointed. Nonetheless, she hope to buy the CD if FMHYR include it, moreover the OST is selling like hot cake... So, poor mum can only listen in youtube.

SPD at Lot 1

Hey! Mum brought me to see SPD Power Ranger again at Lot 1...so exciting.
The show is the same as what I saw in IMM but this time due to the hot weather, many people including us are turned away during photo session.. cos ALL the Rangers are in heat???
It is really a great disappointment to many of us...why can't the organizer think of such thing to happen during "planning" for such event to conduct in an outdoor, open space???
As we already spent 3 hrs waiting for the show to start at 1pm so we can't wait for another 45min to 1 hr for the next available photo session...so I left without any hand shake or photo with my heroes...just too bad!
But I didn't give Mum hard time or throw any tantrum just making her annoy by treating the pole as a "monkey bar" during our MRT ride home... and I think I really get carry away and making her really angry and embarrasses at the same time.

Power Ranger SPD at IMM

I've spent a wonderful time today at IMM to meet and greet my favourite heroes --> PoWEr RaNGeR SPD on stage.

We need to spend $30 and exchange our receipt for a meet & greet pass and each time only 30 passes are issued.
Some people who don't know of such arrangement and had to leave with much disappointment.

Santa's Den and Toy Workshop

Enjoy a fun filled day at the Santa's Den and Toy Museum in Compasspoint today.

They are plenty of toys to choose inside the house but I want to play the football over others toys. We are allowed 20 mins in each session, indeed the time is short but when the time is up, I leave without throwing any tantrum.

I hope to go back and see the Santarinas again...

Asian Children's Festival

Last day of school today so Mom brought me to Asian Children's Festival and KidsAsia (Hall 4 - Singapore Expo) to catch the Wushu demonstration by Kuen Academy at 4pm.

As we were early so we went to check out the Asia Pacific Food Expo next hall 5. Aunty Irene has told Mom to keep a look out of the Wakame Seaweed, a product of Hokkaido, Japan. You see, Mom is really into Japanese cuisine especially after our recent trip to Japan. She is deeply impressed by the passsion and enthusiasm they have put to their cooking.

Mostly of all, it is the wholesome nutrition value we will get after eating these seeweed and when it is good for our body, all MOMMY will buy it that's for sure...

We bought 3 packets at $10 (2 packets for the leafty part and 1 packet for the stem part) FYI, Aunty Irene went on the last day of the exhibition and bought 4 packets at $10 - what a lucky devil!!

In the food expo, Mommy also found her long awaiting "Happy Veg" or 开心菜. She had 3 in a row...WOW! Mom's motto "EAT now DIET later". We told they finally had their first outlet in VivoCity #B2-K9 HarbourFront Walk Tel: 6376 9776. It is halah so our Muslim friends also can eat!

Back to hall 4, we are in time for the Japanese Koto performance and they even played my favourite folk song - Sakura and Mom even captured it in our video cam.

Then, we watched the "behind the Kathakali curtain" showing us how the actor put on their make-up and custom. It is like our Chinese opera except they use their hand, body and eyes to act.

The show finally arrived, it is about the story of Singapore and there even a lion dance (Indian lion dance)

Lastly, that is is me posting after the Wushu demonstration and 10mins lessons with the GorGor and JieJie... unfortunately, Mom had decided not to let me join their 3-day holiday camp...

I really really like to learn Wushu...hopefully I can when I go to Primary school in Year 2008. (aiyah...long way to go...ooo...ooo)

Hooray! Mummy finally agreed to bring me to watch the Power Rangers Dino Thunder Show on stage at IMM.

We took a MRT to Jurong East MRT Station and instead of taking the free shuttle service, we took a Taxi. Luckily, we arrived early as we need to make purchase and exchange a photo taking coupon for admission to take photo with my Heroes.

I love Power Rangers!

Sesame Street 'Live' - Out of This world!

About the Show

An average sunny day becomes extraordinary when Terry, Sesame Street’s fix-it-girl, and her Muppet friends teach their intergalactic visitors all about Earth. Grover shares some of his recent global adventures and children learn that Sesame Street is an international favourite. The live show includes popular segments such as “Elmo’s World” and “Journey to Ernie” as well as a letter and number of the day. In the process, your favourite Sesame Street Live friends teach children how much we have in common, regardless of the languages we speak, the way we look or even the way we like to dance.

Honestly speaking, this time we didn't enjoy the show very much. The lighting is disturbing & annoying, lastly those songs they sang are not known to me and can't really sing-a-long except Hockey Pockey...:(

Disney on Ice

I've been bugging Mummy to bring me to watch Disney on Ice every time the commerical ad appears on TV...so finally, she agreed & bought me to watch last Sunday.

Aunty Josephine helped us to purchase those tickets after cutting out the coupon on Today's paper. Thank You, Aunty! You are the best Aunt to me.

On that day, outside the Singapore Indoor Stadium, light refreshments, drinks and souvenirs are available for purchase. Our show is the first slot at 11.30am and we managed to get quite a good view from our seats.

No View-Cam is allowed but we really enjoyed to the performance very much. I even told Mummy that next time when I grow up, I also want to learn ice-skating...well, let's see when the time comes.

I brought my Mickey's Mouse glove since the air-conditioning is quite cold also this is a good chance for me to show off my glove!

Batman Begin

Today, Mummy brought me to watch Batman Begin at Raffles City Shopping Center. The show start at 1pm but there is queues form already, limited seat are given for every show, despite we are early, we didn't get in the seating compound.

But, we are not disheartened as the Organiser asked us to proceed to 2nd floor, there we can watch the performance too.

The show starts on time and I really enjoy watching and also get to learn some KungFu Martial Art from Ra's Al Ghul. Not bad right?

After watching, Mummy continue her shopping and she overheard announcement on the PA system and we want to check out what going on. To our surprise, it is a meet & greets session with Batman, Ra's Al Ghul and scarecrow. This time, we managed to be the first few in the queue and I am delighted to meet my Heroes finally.
