What's new in Clark Quay?

Clark Quay, a favorite place I like to go for lunch with nice outdoor setting, seeing the bumboat River Taxi sail by with Tourists on board. Chatting up with Hooters girls is must, they are so nice to me and I like them (Hee! Hee! Because they always give me ice-cream after I finished my meal).
What's in store for us after the renovation? Let's see...
I think I must ask Mummy to bring me for dinner one of these days, I guessed it will be more happening and vibrant compares to the daytime visit. Shall we, Mummy?

Sentosa via Cable Car

Took a cable car ride to Sentosa and celebrate my birthday at Sentosa with my favorite pizza and coke of course.
Mum brought me a strawberry cake with lovely heart shape but I fancy coke the most!

Afterwhich, I begged Dad to let me ride on the Carlsberg Sky Tower but we didn't go for it since Mummy is not keen and I was behaving totally like a spoil brat and refuse to speak to them afterwards...
Just before we heading home, Mum showed Dad the sky lift for the Go-Kart and once again, I thought we can go for a ride as Mum & Dad are showing great interest unfortunately, it's already closed. But Dad promise to bring me back next time soon.
Don't make me wait too long, okay! Mum always said the Dad time is like rubber time and can stretch very very long...

Vesak Day Carnival at Takashimaya
Today's is the General Election Day for Singapore and Mummy needs to vote, so early this morning at 8am I walked with Mummy to the Primary School next door to cast her vote. It's was drizzling but that didn't stopped us from going there early cause we need to go town and meet auntie Lynn at Paragon later this afternoon for lunch.
Around 10.30am, Dad gives us a ride to Paragon. It's was still drizzling and since we are early for our appointment with Auntie Lynn, we crossed over to Takashimaya to check out this huge lotus made from used & recycled paper.
It is really difficult to access to the venue as the Organiser has blocked the ramp access to the lotus display area and Mummy has to carry me down the steps. Then, there is this nice lady whom has told Mummy and I that we can go ahead to take pictures if we want but as we walked round the lotus, another lady stopped us from taking pictures and said "Please go around and come back to take the picture later..."

We are surprised with such strange arrangement and I kept asking Mummy why we can't takes more pictures now? Why we are allowed earlier? Mummy is also wondering to herself, she kept quite for a moment before replying me gently that "Maybe there is a big shot as in VIP coming so we can't takes any pictures now"
In the end, we left the place feeling very unhappy and our mood is also very much damped by the wet weather as well as this unpleasant arrangement.

Breakfast picnic at Kampong Java Park

Mum told me that this morning we are going to a place with lots of lotus plant for breakfast picnic. Heavy traffic at CTE as usual even on Saturday morning and we finally reached the park called Kampong Java Park, it is located near KK Women's & Children hospital. I saw lots of lotus growing in the pond and there are also fishes and terrapin tortoise swimming around. Too bad we did not bring any fish food but I will remember to bring the next time I come.
I have great time at the park and look forward to our next picnic at Kampong Java Park again.

Our Pledge
Yesterday, Mum's received an email reply from Ms Lina Choo and she commented to add a tribute to Mr S. Rajaratnam who wrote the pledge from the bottom of his heart.
Thank You, to our late Mr S. Rajaratnam for his contributions to Singapore.

We are Singapore
We sing our National Anthem and say our pledge everyday before school starts. So this makes me wonder about our National Anthem and Pledge.
So Mummy do a little research and found this informative home page all about Singapore by Ms Lina CHOO.
Now I have learnt a precious lesson about my Country, Singapore. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms Lina CHOO for her time and effort and making this useful information available for me and others who also interested to know more about Singapore.
