Macritchie Nature Walk

Sighting at Macritchie Walk, along Chemparai Trail...we completed the 2.0km broadwalk trail. Luckily, the monkey is quite docile today as we heard tales about them creating havoc to visitor of the park. But, who to blame? If people stop feeding them, they will not dare to approach human for food.

We also saw birds, tortoises, fishes, water skippers or gliders, termites and many many more...

Chek Jawa, Pulau Ubin

I didn't get to meet Nemo's & friends but I'm sure to come back to Chek Jawa, a trip to Pulau Ubin is so interesting and fun. The food is inexpensive and yummy too! I love the bitter gourd soup.

What to expect in PU?

1st - a bum boat ride at $2.50 per pax.

2nd - Bicycle rental at $2 per day.

3rd - delicious seafood.

4th - old rustic ambiance of Singapore in the 60's

5th - meet & greet with the local wildlife, like pricislla the boar, X's Hei and X's Bei the stray dogs, mud skippers, monitor lizards and many many more.

Lastly, not to forget Nemo's & friends at Chek Jawa and do remember to come during low tide thot...

Oh! something I learn during this trip, PUE stands for Pulau Ubin Expressway. It's fast & furious and hey NO NEED TO PAY ERP!

In search for Henderson Waves

from Alkaff bridge 1997 to Alexandra Arch and Henderson Waves 2008...what an achievement! Nice walk too.
